About us

We are Gerhard and Naomi, owners of the Vechtdal cottages. Gerhard takes care of the gardens and handles maintenance jobs in and around the cottages; Naomi manages rentals and communication. Together, we are here to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We live nearby, so we can quickly drop something off or arrange things on the spot if you have additional wishes or different expectations.

We have lived in this fantastic place since 1993. We enjoy the forested Vechtdal every day: we love going out for bike rides, spend a lot of time in our vegetable garden, and take pleasure in everything that lives here—from the many bird species and squirrels to other animals that appear close by in the park. At home, we share our yard with our cats and chickens.

We are always happy to welcome guests who enjoy nature, peace, and the outdoor life as much as we do. And we are grateful to be able to do this: to share a lovely place where you can relax and create beautiful memories.
