Enjoy a wonderful stay just 2 km from the Hanseatic town of Ommen and 1 km from the Ommerbosch. In the beautiful Vechtdal countryside, you can hike and cycle to your heart’s content. The two comfortable Vechtdal cottages are next to each other in the small, peaceful Juníperus park. From here, you can walk or cycle straight into the forests or along the river Vecht. Nearby, you can go canoeing, rent a silent electric boat, and swim in both an indoor and an outdoor pool.

Each cottage has a sunny, enclosed south‑facing garden and features Wi‑Fi and a Chromecast on the TV. Dogs are welcome (max. two per cottage), so feel free to bring your furry friend. Travelling with a larger group? Rent cottages 16 and 17 together! They are right next to each other.

Explore the area: beautiful routes through forests and along the water, the “Sahara” sand drift (±7 km), the lock at Vilsteren, and charming spots towards Dalfsen. In summer, Ommen hosts the Ommer Bissingh with markets and activities; you’ll also find the National Tin Figures Museum, and the Pieterpad long‑distance trail passes by the town. The De Lindenberg world restaurant is 300 metres away; Ommen offers several cozy places to eat.
